Glorious!
The comedy Glorious! is the true story of Florence Foster Jenkins, possibly the worst soprano in the world, will be staged at the Manoel Theatre. Florence Foster Jenkins will be played by Marylu Coppini, while Mikhail Basmadjian will be playing her pianist Cosme McMoon. Colin Willis will play her boyfriend St Clair, Nanette Brimmer will be playing Florence’s best friend Dorothy, Paula Fleri Soler will play Maria the Mexican maid and Simone Pavlides will play the part of Florence’s arch-enemy Mrs Johnson. Glorious! is directed by Coryse Borg.

Alarms and Excursions
Masquerade presents Alarms & Excursions by Tony Award-winning playwright, Michael Frayn, author of 'Noises Off' and 'Copenhagen' at the Manoel Theatre. Alarms & Excursions sees Frayn return in sparkling comic form as he takes a wry look at our increasingly desperate reliance on technology. Directed by Simone Ellul, the cast features Malcolm Galea, Abigail Williams, Paul Cilia and Angele Galea. Performances start at 7.30pm. Boats, Balconies and Buildings
An exhibition of paintings and watercolours by Lionel Coates and Narinder Coates at Heritage Malta Head Office, Valletta.

Carmelo Mangion – His Life and Works 1905 – 1997
Caraffa Stores at Cottonera will host an exhibition of paintings by Carmelo Mangion. The exhibition will coincide with a publication entitled 'Carmelo Mangion – His Life and Works 1905 – 1997'. The collection of artistic works consists of forty five pieces in various media, namely gouache, water-colour, oil and a limited number of etchings.
The book on the life and works of the artist is written by Joseph Paul Cassar and documents the vast majority of Carmelo Mangion’s artistic output with a critique of the works. The publication will also be available at Caraffa Stores and from all leading bookshops and stationers. The exhibition is open from 10.00 to 13.00; 16.00pm and 19.00.

Ode to Joy - works by Ljupco Samardziski
Macedonian-born painter Ljupco Samardziski will be showing his works at the St James Cavalier Upper Galleries. His varied artistic and academic career has juggled visual art and music. Samardziski blends the two artforms in his paintings to create striking collages.

I Have Not Seen A Butterfly Around Here
An exhibition of children's drawings from WWII Czech ghetto at St James Cavalier. This collection was preserved from destruction by the Nazis and was not discovered until a decade later. This exhibition presents reproductions as well as some of the poems created by the children.

Valentine's Exhibition
A Valentine's Day themed exhibition at Artitude Gallery, Tigne, Sliema. Featuring Studio Plato artists Robert Howley, Deborah Attard and Lucia Suquia Quintana.

The Maria Pisani Bequest
An exhibition of eleven paintings by the renowned Maltese artist Lazzaro Pisani (1854 - 1932) donated to Heritage Malta by his daughter Maria Pisani. Held at the Contemporary Hall of the National Museum of Fine Arts, Valletta. Open from Monday to Sunday, 21:00 to 17:00 (last admission 16:30).

An exhibition of ceramics by Charlot Cassar at the Loggia, National Museum of Fine Arts, Valletta. Open Monday to Sunday from 09.00 - 17.00 (Last Admission 16.30).

An exhibition of prints donated to Heritage Malta by Mr Martin Karlin from USA at the Gozo Area Exhibition Hall, Gozo Area Office, The Citadel Gozo. Open Monday to Friday from 08.00 - 17.00 (Last Admission 16.30).

LITERARY EVENING

A literary evening organised by Poeżijaplus in collaboration with Heritage Malta, held at the National Museum of Fine Arts, Valletta at 19:30. Entrance is free.

Antonio Sciortino and his influences
Public lecture by Dennis Vella, organised by Heritage Malta at Heritage Malta Head Office, Valletta at 18.30.

QUIZ NIGHTS

Thursdays
Quiz Nights held at Ciao Frà, Xemxija. Entrance next to Beachaven. Every Thursday at 21.00, tables team up to fill in a self-completion quiz pack of 40 general knowledge and current affairs questions.
