A call for mission funds

While on holiday I visited Mission Fund, and as usual knowing the work I do in South Sudan, handed me a donation.
I am a Daughter of St. Paul, a missionary congregation not yet established in Malta but spread all over the world.
Our mission is spreading the Word of God by using the media, therefore I believe in the importance of the printed word such as newspapers and books.
We as Daughters of St. Paul have just started our mission in South Sudan.
We have just opened a Book and Media centre requested by the local archbishop.
During this short time spent there I have realized the importance of children’s education as they are the future of the country. Oftentimes they skip a meal in order to keep the money to buy a little book. This shows that there is a desire to learn and therefore the money donated by Mission Fund, thanks for your help, will go towards subsidising children’s books.
I ask you to continue to help Mission Fund by sending them used stamps, used telecards and donations.
I want to assure you of our daily prayers and ask you to remember us also in yours. May God bless you, your families and your work.
