Would it be possible for science to solve religious fanaticism?

It should be a criminal offence for anyone to present a theory as a fact, especially to very young children. We should have had enough of religious myths passed as facts.
In many countries, but not in Malta, we come across religious leaders instigating prejudice and wars. Quite often these religious leaders have no idea about scientific subjects, and neither do they know the beauty of other religions. The people are led by religious fanatics.
For this situation to end, before a person becomes a religious leader, he should have two certificates in scientific subjects chosen from physics, chemistry and biology.
Apart from this, a religious person should obtain a certificate in another religion other than his own. This certificate should be issued by the leaders of the particular religion. If such a system is followed we will get rid of the many religious fanatics now present.
