Orchestral concert
A joint production of the MPO and the Manoel Theatre, held at the theatre under the direction of the orchestra’s resident conductor Michael Laus at 19:30. For Strings Inn + Cable 35 + Retrophytes

Salt album launch
The band will be releasing their second full-length album at the Montekristo Arena, Ħal Farruġ. Doors open at 20:00.

Brikkuni + Xtruppaw

Peter Panto
MADC’s annual pantomime, held at the MFCC, Ta’ Qali. Written by Nanette Brimmer, directed by Alan Montanaro who will also be playing Captain Hook. Is-Siegha tal-Kittieba
Author Rena Balzan will be interviewed by Simone Galea at St James Cavalier, 19:30, as part of the ‘Is-Siegha tal-Kittieba’ series of interviews. Readings from her work and a Q&A session with the public will follow the interview. Entrance is free.

Bliet – The launch
Norbert Bugeja will be performing extracts from his new collection live at the St James Cavalier Music Room, 20:00. He will be accompanied by actress Nicole Bugeja and percussionist Renzo Spiteri

Il-Gnien tad-Dmugh
Launch party for Simon Bartolo u Loranne Vella’s Il-Gnien tad-Dmugh, the final instalment in the ‘Fiddien’ trilogy, at Caraffa Stores, Birgu, 21:00. Music by DJ Bob, with obligatory ‘black tears’ make up as part of the dress code. The book will be on sale, and an autograph session will take place.
