Teatru Unplugged

Exhibition of works on canvas, board and paper using paint and mixed media by Jean Karl Izzo at the Upper Galleries of St James Cavalier.

2 Diaries
A joint exhibition by Carmel Bonello and Jeremy Ellul at the Heritage Malta Head Office, Old University Buildings in Merchants’ Street, Valletta. Opening hours Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (closed on public holidays). On Saturday 3rd October the exhibition will be open in the evening for the event of Notte Bianca.

Inspirations for Inspire
Exhibition held at the Atrium of St James Cavalier, Valletta in aid of INSPIRE (Eden Foundation + Razzett tal Hbiberija) featuring Alexia Coppini, Anna Nightingale, Celia Borg Cardona, Charles Bonnici, Christine X, Daniela Guevska, George Scintilla, Goran Cejkov, James Vella Clark, Jeni Caruana, Kenneth Zammit Tabona, Olaug Vethal, Paulene Busuttil, and Zell Osborne. Artsts vary in style and a mixture of different arts include photography, stone sculpture, ceramics and paintings.

Malta Comic-Con
Very first local comic book convention, held at the Upper Galleries of St James Cavalier from 10:00 to 18:00. Featuring international comic book artists David Lloyd, Mike Collins, Staz Johnson and Sean Azzopardi and local talent, as well as stands, workshops, exhibitions and lectures. Tickets at €7 for each day, €12 block ticket. Free entrance for children under 11.

November 5
French philosophers
Professor Joe Friggieri will be giving th final lecture in the ‘Five French Philosophy’ series at the University Gozo Centre, Mgarr Road, Xewkija. The lecture will be on Jean Paul Sartre, start at 19:00 and finish at 20:00. Entrance is free but booking is recommended: 21220701/21238456
