Creamfields
The popular electro festival will take over Gianpula Fields from 18:00. Line up includes Booka Shade, Markus Schulz, James Zabiela, Laidback Luke, Umek, Vitalic and Giuseppe Ottaviani, with local support from Carl Bee, JJoy, Miss Roberta, Clay C, Joseph Armani, Bengy, Junior B, DJ Ruby, Cecil McCarthy, Moose and Conrad K. Legends of the 60s and 70s
Defining bands from the two decades will be performing near Fra Ben, Buggiba from 19:30. The Sweet and T.Rex will be performing on August 12, The Animals on August 13 and on August 14 Herman and Hermits will be performing with 60's Legends (made up of members of The Kinks and The Hollies). Tribal Belly Dance classes
Tribal Dance Malta is organising a 10-week belly dance course at Activezone Gym, Msida (next to Junior College). Each course consists of a one-hour class once a week. The Tuesday class starts at 19:30 (except for the first three weeks where it will start at 20:00) and the Thursday class starts at 21:00 each week. The fee for each course is €80. A call for artists for an exhibition which is to coincide with the upcoming production Censor Me!!! (Banned from theatres near you). All artists are encouraged to forward any work related to the theme of censorship. All artforms are accepted and the number of entries per artist is open. QUIZ NIGHTS

Thursdays
Quiz Night Thursdays
Quiz at Ciao Fra, Sliema starts at 20:30. Each table booked is considered to be a team. Quiz packs containing 40 questions on different topics are given out to each team, who would in turn be given an hour’s time limit to fill in their answers. After the hour elapses, correct answers will be called out by the quizmaster, after which the winning table is announced. Winners receive a €20 discount off their bill. A free bottle of The Stump Jump (Australia), imported by Bicanter Wines, will be given to the winning table and runners up. Those interested in participating are kindly asked to contact quizmaster David Darmanin on 99458567.
