Clarifications

St Paul’s Bay temporary marina
Clarification is made as to the St Paul’s Bay council’s position on yacht marinas, with respect to the news item in MaltaToday (5 July). The council would like it to be known that the proposal for a temporary marina at the Veccja was discussed on 25 May, where it was made clear that the council was not in principle, against a yacht marina in St Paul’s Bay. The council discussed the government proposals, which were different from the ones the council could have agreed to. The council therefore, unanimously, did not agree to the proposals as presented and objected due to the parking problem that would develop; the boats currently moored at the jetty would not have an alternative location; and because the proposal is too close to the swimming zone.

MaltaToday survey
The data pertaining to consumption of local and foreign milk in MaltaToday’s survey (12 July) had to read correctly as – consumption of local milk: 79.2%; and consumption of foreign milk: 16.6%
