In vino veritas I’m surprised to read that “a three-course meal consisting of pasta, steak or fish, fruit and a carafe equivalent to two glasses of local wine amounts to €60” (‘Attard-Montalto gives partial disclosure of MEP salary’, 4 June) – only because there’s no wine being served at the hotels in Brussels mentioned by Mr John Attard-Montalto which could possibly pass for ‘local’, meaning either Belgian or Maltese in origin. Any comments? |
