‘Libertas’ lampoon in bad taste

As a long-time admirer of Malta and its people, I find the humour by a British ‘comedian’ (‘Libertas candidate falls for comedian’s joke’, 31 May) to be in very poor taste. I think I would be taken in if I were attending a conference on adult education; the organisers should be ashamed of themselves for letting this cynical man loose on people. If things happened in the way described, I feel that an apology would be more in order than posting a blog for your newspaper to publish.
