188 reports of abuse on vulnerable groups

Replying to a question by Labour MP Noel Farrugia in parliament, Justice and Home Affairs Minister Tonio Borg said that there were 16 reports of sexual abuse on minors under the age of 18, in the first half of the year.
Reports on domestic violence totalled 162, nine of which were made in Gozo, while there were 10 reports of offences committed against the elderly aged over 60.
