New PBS CEO

Anton Attard, a former head of programming at the Nationalist party station Net TV, has been appointed CEO of the Public Broadcasting Services.
Attard will be stepping in after the resignation of Albert Debono as PBS chief.
Attard was central to several policy strategies inside the PN and the Office of the Prime Minister.
His appointment, along with that of Natalino Fenech as PBS head of news, and Joe Pirotta as editorial board chief, marks a stronger consolidation of the government’s trusted men at the helm of public broadcasting.
