What is The Point?

The opening of the new ‘state-of-the-art’ shopping mall in Tigne has dramatically increased the traffic in Sliema, making it practically impossible to access. Finding your way between the heavy trucks, obstructing cranes, road blocks and cars makes you wish you could be beamed through that area.
As Alternattiva Demokratika kept on hammering over the years, traffic generated by these newly built constructions would put traffic in Sliema to a standstill, drown the local population in car fumes and discourage people from visiting it. And that’s not all: more towers and shops are waiting to be finished or be built. Enjoy!
