Disallowing marriage rights to asylum seekers Well done to the acting public registrar Carmel Abela (MaltaToday, 10 January 2010). If all Maltese should abide by Maltese law, so must foreigners. Illegal immigrants are not fighting for the same rights as the Maltese in this case, but to have an advantage that not even the Maltese have. Maltese law is the law, and everyone should abide with it.
