Reporting on goverment ministers

Kindly allow me to pass a comment about the letter ‘Fenech libel action against One News’ by correspondent Stephan Zahra (29 November, 2009) in which article the correspondent asked for an explanation as to why politician Tonio Fenech instituted libel proceedings against Glenn Bedingfield.
Since various One News primetime editions have alleged that the finance minister had acted as a commission agent (‘sensar’), this libel action will now provide an opportunity to the One News head to prove what he contended in a law court.
This episode goes on to reveal the true (not so hidden) identity of former Mintoffian socialists who jumped on the anti-Tonio Fenech smear campaign when they thought they could achieve cheap political mileage from slander, but who then retreated in evident panic when challenged to prove their contentions.
