Mobile antennae installed on Church property

Mr Peter Pace Balzan’s letter regarding mobile antennas published in the Malta Today of 22 November should have been addressed to the Health Authorities or to the Malta Communications Authorities as such matters do not fall within the church’s competence or responsibility.
One fails to see why such letters are directed at the church when there are hundreds of these antennas spread all over the island. If (and this is a big “IF”), the competent authorities ever feel that such antennas can pose a health risk they should issue appropriate instructions to have them all removed and the church will be amongst the first to comply.
