An insult to Maltese athletes by Maltapost

It is shame for whoever took the decision to put a picture of an American shooter on a Maltese stamp of 37 cents to commemorate the Games of Small Nations 2009.
The Maltese shooters felt insulted that the picture of Vincent Hancock, the American skeet shooter wearing the same gear he wore on 16 August 2008 in the Beijing Olympics.
If whoever was responsible for this insult had the decency to open either the Malta Shooting Federation website, or the Malta Olympic Committee website, they could have easily obtained a picture of a Maltese shooter.
I have never seen a nation that choose a foreigner’s picture on his stamps, coins or flag. I am sure that whoever took this decision must have never heard the national anthem and seen the national flag being raised when a Maltese athlete wins a medal in an international event.
