Farsons Great Beer Festival
Annual beer festival at Ta Qali Park. Featuring a wide selection of beers, food stalls and local talent. Open from 20:00. Entrance is free. Full programme:

Dark by Design
A night of metal, punk, goth and more at Remedy Club, Paceville. Featuring DJs Oliver (Default), Lex (Luce), Clint (Mechanoid) , Frank, (Slit) and Viviana Fern. Doors open at 21:30. Entrance is free.

Bonnie Prince Billy
Following the cancellation in May, the cult folk musician will be playing at the MITP Courtyard, Valletta at 19:00, supported by Bark Bark Disco. Tickets at €12 if bought prior to the performance (, €15 at the door.

August 12 - 14
Legends of the 60s and 70s
Defining bands from the two decades will be performing near Fra Ben, Buggiba from 19:30. The Sweet and T.Rex will be performing on August 12, The Animals on August 13 and on August 14 Herman and Hermits will be performing with 60's Legends (made up of members of The Kinks and The Hollies). Bridge Bar sessions
Fringe presents jazz nights at Bridge Bar, Victoria Gate, Valletta from 21:00. Featuring a selection of local and international artists playing a variety of genres including bebop, latin, fusion and bossa jazz, amongst others.

Porn: The Musical
Indiskarf’s musical comedy’s second run at Argotti Gardens, Floriana before its run at the Edinburgh Fringe. Starts at 21:00. Tickets:, Exotique, Agenda Bookshop, Bookends, Newskiosk and Vodafone outlets.

Kinemastik International Short Film Festival
The fifth edition of the open air, non-competitive event is taking place at
Herbert Ganado Gardens, Floriana at 20:30 and will feature a selection of locally produced short films and documentaries, together with the work of several international artists.

Tribal Belly Dance classes
Tribal Dance Malta is organising a 10-week belly dance course at Activezone Gym, Msida (next to Junior College). Each course consists of a one-hour class once a week. The Tuesday class starts at 19:30 (except for the first three weeks where it will start at 20:00) and the Thursday class starts at 21:00 each week. The fee for each course is €80. A call for artists for an exhibition which is to coincide with the upcoming production Censor Me!!! (Banned from theatres near you).
