EPSO funds for Puss In Boots

With reference to your article of 19 July, 2009 ‘Mediatoday’s Reporter received 10% of public service TV funds in 2008’ I would like to clarify my position.
To my surprise, according to your article, I got paid the sum of €2,159 from the PBS’s Extended Public Service Obligation in 2007/8.
This sum was never received by myself! I would also like to point out that Puss In Boots is only funded thanks to the financial back-up and trust of my sponsors.
The procedure is simple to explain. Thanks to PBS, I sell spot adverts during the advertising airtime allocated to myself by PBS for Puss In Boots. It is up to myself to cover all the production charges and expenses. PBS, I guess, will need to cover transmission and overheads.
Thanks to all the contributors who have formed part of our team, I deliver a weekly educational programme ready to be aired and enjoyed by the Maltese viewers on TVM.
