Temples’ enclosure has ruined monument

As a friend of Malta and a tour operator, I am always interested in things that happen in Malta.
I love Malta and I am shocked when things happen that seem not to have been organised by persons who are competent or who think twice over what they are doing. Things such as the increased entrance fees to heritage sites, that will result in less people visiting these places.
For me personally, and for my clients, this is unacceptable – I am unable to recommend such options to my clients.
A horrible thing is the cover built over the temples, at which I am absolutely shocked and very, very sad. I have no words for it. The temple sites are very special places, places with character, mystic, holy, built atop a picturesque site. Altogether the temples, with the beautiful place and the sea, are wonderful.
Now all this has been destroyed and converted into an ugly place. What is special about that now? The character has gone and the place has been converted into an ugly, modern-style place which can be seen in every other place of the world. This was a place I visited very often. Now I will not visit it any more.
