Labour files protest on VAT refund

Labour has presented a judicial protest in the name of 17,600 claimants who asked Labour to file for a refund of VAT on the registration tax they paid on cars they had purchased since 2004. The case will made against the government. In a statement yesterday, Labour said this was the first step to open the seminal case. The judicial protest was signed by Labour deputy leader for parliamentary affairs Anglu Farrugia, Msida mayor Alex Sciberras, and Chris Cilia.
