Intercultural exhibit in Freedom Square for Christmas

Preparations have started in earnest for an exhibition which will be held in Freedom Square in Valletta during the Christmas period with the theme of intercultural dialogue. A number of frames have been fixed to the top part of the arches facing the square (see picture). On each frame, a back-lit picture showing a face of a person from a different ethnic origin will be fixed to the frames to promote intercultural diversity at a time when Valletta will be bustling with people shopping. This project is a joint initiative by the Valletta Local Council and the EUPU (European Union Programmes Union) as part of the Year for Intercultural Diversity.
