LETTERS | Sunday, 22 July 2007 Police anniversary commemoration tarnished Michael Bonnici It is a pity that the 193rd anniversary of the foundation of the Police Corp, so very well organised, was tarnished in the same week with a black event – having one of its members being found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment for hurting a foreign woman while on duty (case is now in the appeal stage).
