Over 4,000 get swine flu jab

4,152 people have been vaccinated against the A H1N1 ‘swine’ flu since Tuesday, including 1,213 healthcare workers.
Just under 3,000 people were vaccinated yesterday by midday, the Department of Information said. 2,939 pregnant women and people suffering from chronic illnesses were vaccinated.
The vaccination will continue until 10 January with health centres carrying out the vaccinations between 8am and 1pm daily and from 3pm to 7pm. People taking the vaccine should take with them their identity card, the yellow card or a doctor’s certificate.
