That discussion about the Cabinet reshuffle I am confessedly an addict-admirer of clowning, and consequently lap up articles written in parody form, such as the conversations in Castille that you have been lately publishing (Saviour Balzan, ‘The reshuffle conversation’, 23 August). However, I am sure that from a literary point of view you can do better in the way of mimicry of the style of Mr Cachia Caruana. I have been exposed to his discourse for over 30 years since he was a student at the University and I simply could not imagine him speaking in the style of language you put in his mouth. And as the saying goes, style is the man.
