Once again, the Qormi local council and the organisers of the St George’s feast have failed to provide hundreds of people with adequate toilet facilities, resulting in the transformation of our alleys and house facades into public pissoirs. Once again, the so called public toilets were closed and one miserable portaloo was installed, which is a great improvement over last year, when there were none. It is unacceptable that a village feast is not authorised to provide correct security measures and toilets in place, as it is the case for concerts.
