Consumers must make careful choices

I agree with the budget measures but what about the credit car levies? This had to be removed as promised by the Prime Minister.
Hopefully from next January we will be paying less for petrol and diesel because from this date government will pay less on fuel since the price of oil has lowered. Hopefully.
What I can’t figure is the difference in electricity bills. I think people need samples of electricity bills before October 2008, with both the 95% surcharge, and the new bills with revised tariffs. An increase from 55c to 90c per week per member of family does not reflect an astronomic increase in electricity bills as some say.
Still, we are going to pay more but if consumers are careful no one is going to pay far more than the usual bills.
