Mater Dei mouse incident

It is most unfair to the caterers concerned to bring up now a libel case court judgement that concerned only the “historical” accuracy of a reported account of a students' experiment described as “unprofessional”. The court judgement does not in any way justify the conclusions being drawn about the hygienic aspect of the tables.
What should concern the general public is the “scientific” accuracy of the students’ experiment, its correct interpretation and the evaluation of the results.  Judging from the published accounts these leave much to be desired.
