A man carrying out works on the roof of a Senglea house fell a height of two metres yesterday and rushed to hospital where he was certified to be in danger of dying.
Police were called to Grigal Street in Senglea where they found the man on the roof after falling from the washroom.
Also yesterday, a crane toppled over in High Street in Qormi, at around 10am. The crane was transporting concrete slabs onto a construction site when it toppled over, with the slabs falling over two cars.
The crane’s fall was broken by a residence. Nobody was hurt in the incident.
