Norman Lowell claims to possess a list of 50 “traitors” who will be hunted down and executed in classic vampire-slaying fashion, if the Imperium Europa founder’s online missives are to be taken literally.
“Fifty traitors, and we got them listed,” Lowell wrote on the Viva Malta forum in answer to a previous post, which asked who takes decisions in this country. “We will go after them till the end of the world – till we drive wooden stakes in their hateful hearts”, the message amicably concludes.
On the same forum, the author of “Credo” and “Imperium Europa (the Book That Changed the World)” outlines his strategy on immigration for the umpteenth time: “We will stop every boat at 14 miles out. We will simply refuse to let them pass, costa quel che costa… And then, we will turn on those traitors, and give them the what for! Saremo spietati!”
But… who are these traitors, exactly? And wouldn’t garlic cloves work just as well?
Speaking candidly over a “cappuccino bollente” at the Melita in Attard, Norman Lowell proves to be every bit as cryptic as his tenebrous online imagery suggests.
“There are two types (of traitor). Those who consciously work against the national interest in obedience to the Enemy of Mankind; and those who naively believe in the equality of different races.”
Mankind’s enemy, Lowell adds, is the same that has ruined Europe and the United States by allowing multiculturalism to flourish unchecked. “But for the last 50 years, the traitors overlooked Malta. They thought the Gahan Malti was insignificant, and ignored him. Now they are realising their mistake. For from this isola sacra emerged the IDEA that will ultimately defeat them.”
Lowell is reluctant to divulge any names, but asserts that the 50 “traitors” occupy all the top positions in the most sensitive strategic offices: MITTS, the Malta Resources Authority, the Oil Exploration Department, etc.
“All of them are members of Friends of Israel,” Lowell sneers. “Are their decisions being taken in the nation’s interest? Or in the interest of another country?”
Apart from driving stakes through these people’s hearts, Lowell’s IDEA stipulates a political solution that some – especially viewers of the History channel – may find vaguely familiar: the need to restore the pre-eminence of the White Man in Europe and the world; the need to fight the Neo-Zionists in our midst; the need for the “New Right” to come together on a political level… and then, there are Lowell’s online eulogies for the likes of George Rockwell Lincoln: the late Commander of the American National Socialist Movement, or as Lowell puts it, “a courageous man, who took the Jews head on.”
“Dr William Pierce worked with GLR and learned a lot from him,” Lowell writes on vivamalta.org. “Mostly, he learned that what was good in the 30s, is no longer valid today. Uniforms, jackboots and parading are out – the internet, U-Tube, music are in.”
Out, too, is any active reference to Fascism, Nazism, and neo-Nazism. Like Alain de Benoist – whose “Nouvelle Droite” has so clearly influenced Imperium Europa – Lowell eschews such obviously loaded labels. But at every point, he cannot resist coming back to his chosen bete noir: the Jews.
Even Azzjoni Nazzjonali, the right wing political formation spearheaded by Josie Muscat, is actually a Neo-Zionist conspiracy aimed at weakening Imperium Europa: “It was a Zionist agent who originally approached Josie and convinced him to contest,” Lowell asserts. “The idea is to divide the right wing vote, just in case we contest the elections – which we haven’t decided on as yet.”
Strangely enough, the man who posts online comments like the “wooden stakes” ones quoted above, seems to also take great offence at any similarly violent suggestions made in his, or his acolytes’, regard.
“There have been wicked, visceral posts against myself, Etoile and Baron Ironblood (two regular Viva Malta forum contributors) on www.maltafly.com,” Lowell bitterly remonstrates as he waits for his cappuccino to cool. “Why haven’t these comments been investigated? From our own investigations it emerges that all these posts originated from PC number 4 at the Enemalta offices. We have reported this to the Police, but they did nothing. When we were investigated (for last year’s spate of arson attacks), they took away our computers. Some of us spent days in a cell. But then, comments like those hateful, hurtful ones on maltafly are not even investigated.
Apparently oblivious to any irony, the man who would be “merciless” concludes in tones of deep personal anguish: “If someone is pathological enough in his animus to write such terrible things, there is no telling what they are capable of…”
Who knows? Perhaps they are even capable of driving a stake through someone’s heart…
