Clarification

With reference to the article carried on 16 May 2010 ‘Image of cars entering Valletta retained for 9 months’, it was incorrectly stated that Datatrak monitors CCTVs on behalf of local councils. This is incorrect. Datatrak is not in any way involved in any activity in respect of either local councils’ CCTVs or the CVA system. Datatrak states it does not monitor, record or retain any images of vehicles passing through Valletta’s gates.
