MaltaToday has failed to get its facts right on its Wednesday 26 August edition and your reporter, Karl Stagno-Navarra indulged in malicious accusations against the Victoria Local Council, portraying us as an entity that bypasses the Law.
This event was not organised in Victoria and the Victoria Local Council had nothing to do with the event or any permits issued for the event. We expect you to immediately rectify this caluminous accusation and to give prominence to it according to article 21 of Chapter 248 of the Laws of Malta.
We also expect you to check your information correctly next time before publishing your articles.
All of this is without prejudice to the Victoria Council’s other legal rights.
