Environmental Health department looking into milk complaints

The Department for Environmental Health said it is investigating a number of complaints with respect to the quality of Malta Dairy Products (MDP) milk.
Tests at Malta Dairy Products established nothing wrong in a production batch, the quality of which was the source of complaints. MDP company secretary Martin Grech said several people from all over Malta had complained that milk with yesterday’s expiry date had gone sour early. But tests on samples of last Friday’s batch by the MDP had found that everything was in order.
The Department for Environmental Health in a statement said it is investigating the complaints but that it was too early to issue any result with respect to samples of milk elevated yesterday morning.
