Zejtun man to be charged with heroin trafficking

The Police have arrested a 26-year-old man after a heroin drug find in Xghajra, limits of Zabbar.
The bust was carried out on Monday afternoon, after police received information that the man was traffocking the drug. Drug Squad officers said the man, from Zejtun, used a property in Xghajra to conduct his business.
He was apprehended by police and found to be carrying various packets of heroin, ready to be sold, as well as a syringe already loaded with heroin. Other other drug-related paraphernalia were found inside his property.
Further investigations are currently under way. The man is expected to be arraigned in court in the coming days.
