Angelik Caruana is no fraud

I watched Xarabank of 24 April, 2009. With deep sorrow I heard some of the experts present at the programme say that in the case of Angelik Caruana there is no evidence to show that the marks of the wounds he carries on his wrists, on his feet and on his side to be of supernatural origin.
In my opinion, these experts gave the impression that the marks are false or else that Angelik unknowingly inflicted them on himself. I am most certain that this conclusion reached by the experts is incorrect and not based on the facts, since I myself saw the marks of the wounds form on Angelik’s body, right in front of my own eyes. These wounds were the very same ones that just a little after appearing on Angelik’s body were then filmed by Xarabank cameras.
This is what happened: on the 17 October, 2008, at around 1:30pm, I was driving Angelik home to rest. All of a sudden, as Angelik began to be in pain, I saw the skin of his wrists turn white and then break open, just like seeing a flower-bud break open, then followed an issue of blood. I not only saw the marks of the wounds, I also touched them.
I am deeply saddened by the way the experts at Xarabank continued to insist on their conclusions. How can these experts say that they are investigating these phenomena when they are not studying the case in all its complexity, and just select what of it to mention and what to leave out, as though they were cutting the material to fit their size?
I felt dismayed by the experts who publicly expressed judgments drawn from photographs and films that they did not even take themselves. This is not the correct procedure for carrying out an investigation and is not professional. I think that these experts were not being fair with those (and they are not few) who saw things happen before their very eyes. Tongue in cheek, these experts went public saying the very opposite of what was seen by witnesses. May an expert conclude, for example, that the salt was purposely placed there by someone, while completely ignoring the testimony of persons who saw salt materialize?
During the programme, Mr. Peppi Azzopardi asked the experts for their response to the witness given by people. It was an appropriate question to ask, since there are persons who saw things, such as: blood form and trickle from the statue’s eyes; hosts that appear all of a sudden on the palms of the hands or on the tongue of Angelik; the oil that materializes on the statue; and the movements of the statue. Just as the question was made, advertisements were shown and subsequently the experts did not reply to it. I think that this does not do justice to the truth or to people like me who are witnesses. Moreover I do not think that this attitude is just towards the general public.
I wish to encourage the witnesses not to shy away from giving their testimony to those who have the responsibility of seriously investigating what is taking place.
