Sterling Security no longer at Law Courts
Reference is made to the article carried ‘Three firms get millions from speed cameras, up to 58% of all fines’ (8 March), and specifically to the paragraph The Warden Agencies under the sub-heading ‘Who is who in the Local Enforcement System’.
For correctness’ sake, it must be stressed that Sterling Security no longer provides security for the Law Courts. Since 1 July 2008, following a departmental call for tenders, another company providing security services was awarded the tender for a period of one year.
