I refer to the article appearing on Wednesday, 7 January 2009, entitled ‘MCA says phone operators must back up ad claims.’
We would like to clarify that the Malta Communications Authority’s concerns relate exclusively to statements made in paid advertisements and NOT in statements made in public fora. We are submitting this clarification in view of the fact that in the article you make reference to GO’s statements during the launch of GO’s Naxxar outlet which do not raise any concerns with the MCA.
