Upkeep of Floriana mortuary

Allow me to refer to parliamentary question 2592 (reply delivered during sitting number 41 on 31 October) wherein the minister for resources and rural affairs George Pullicino was quoted stating that the Floriana (ex-General Hospital) mortuary falls under the Floriana local council’s responsibility.
Allow me to point out that, since this building belongs to the Malta government, it is (and should be) clear that its general upkeep and maintenance should be seen to by central government.
