Trade Union Council? Good idea

It was wise to put forward the idea of a Trade Union Council in Malta. It was even wiser for Joseph Muscat and the Malta Labour Party to meet and discuss the issue with all social partners, hoping that the government would follow the example, not having the hiccups of its own ministers in the issue.
Austin Gatt stated that there is no way back, and Tonio Fenech said otherwise on Xarabank. Can somebody tell us what stand they are taking? In the end is the people out there who are paying.
Well done to all social partners, the Opposition and all concerned, especially the General Workers’ Union that made such things happen.
