Taxpayers and parliamentary reform

I heard with interest the news about parliamentary reform and I understand that our MPs would have two secretaries each at their disposal. Now if I may ask, are these secretaries going to be paid from our taxes? If so, don’t you think that we taxpayers, who are buying our own expensive medicines from our pension, also deserve a reform?
As a pensioner I find myself being punished for being a good, law-abiding, hardworking citizen all my life. At present I suffer from Parkinson’s Disease and need to buy Stalevo tablets. Due to my pension I am not entitled to the orange form to get certain free medicine. At present I have to spend €35 each month, which amount to a €419.28 a year. The result is that my pension has shrunk and does not reflect the correct amount to my needs. Therefore I ask whether the government could give a rebate from our own taxes, paid to the Inland Revenue, against receipts shown for the medicine .
