Stubbings, Schembri and the frame-up of Labour

The article (on Stubbings and Schembri) exposes the fact that the political history of Malta in the 1980s was written from the wrong perspective.
These happenings were only instigated politically in order to make the Labour Government look bad, in fact one still reads about the bad old days of Mintoff’s regime, when all the time it was blue-eyed boys who were the culprits making other people’s lives miserable.
The fact that these same miscreants are enjoying “La Dolce Vita” with the aid of government contracts goes only to show that the Maltese people have been lead up the garden path for over 30 years whilst the perpatrators and the instigators are enjoying the easy life at our expenses.
One cannot forget the famouse phrase uttered by a local conservative politician “Justice must not only be done but must be seen to be done”, but then he was well known for his empty rhetoric.
