Peppi here, there and everywhere

So, this cold of yours broke your resolve not to watch TV on a Friday, (‘Lead not follow, propose not question, confront not dodge’, 19 October), and I’m more than sure that it was a waste of time for you, and another source of income for the organisers.
Believe me, I cannot understand why intelligent people fall for this temptation of seeing themselves being taken for a ride.
Our national TV station has forgotten every right that we have as viewers, and what we expect from them through paying for our TV licence. Gone are those days when we used to watch football games on our national channel. Now we have to pay to watch what we used to see on TVM.
Why are we still paying this illegal licence? In my opinion this licence is outdated now, and should be paid by the private company.
We all know that our national TV channel has gone private now. Now, you see Peppi here, there and everywhere, taking up all the station’s prime time.
Also gone are the days when we used to entertain ourselves with educational discussions, football, international shows, etc.
Now, the programmes we see on our screen are based only in making their producers richer.
So next time, my dear Saviour, instead of breaking your promise, utilise your time by listening to Andre Rieu, and forget all about seeing that comedy
