Clarifications

Gozo Bishop’s address
Certain inaccuracies featured in the report on Gozo bishop Mario Grech’s speech last week, namely concerning the following excerpts: “who attempted to undermine this truth for their own needs, was going against God”; “old guard”; and “prime aim [of marriage] of reproducing”. For the benefit of readers, these lines were inaccurately paraphrased.

Former Enemalta CEO
Last Wednesday, MaltaToday erroneously reported that Mr David Spiteri Gingell – former CEO at Enemalta – had fallen out with investments minister Austin Gatt. This was a mistake: Mr Spiteri Gingell had informed us that “MFEI and [he] had different views of where responsibility and authority for line management would lie.” MFEI did not fall under the responsibility of Austin Gatt, so the error is regretted.
