For the benefit of readers, these lines were inaccurately paraphrased.
Former Enemalta CEO Last Wednesday, MaltaToday erroneously reported that Mr David Spiteri Gingell – former CEO at Enemalta – had fallen out with investments minister Austin Gatt. This was a mistake: Mr Spiteri Gingell had informed us that “MFEI and [he] had different views of where responsibility and authority for line management would lie.” MFEI did not fall under the responsibility of Austin Gatt, so the error is regretted.
