Immature and unethical writing

The National Council of Women strongly condemns the insensitive verbal and visual references to newborns whose father has been declared unknown recently made in an article of a local Maltese newspaper that is completely out of context with the topic.
The Council feels that this type of writing is unethical and immature in such vulnerable situations, where the role of the media should be to instill support and understanding in the readers, to address the needs of individuals concerned, rather than treat them in such an undignified manner
