A night of electro/mesh ups/indie/bop and disco tunes, as delivered by DJs Jamie De Cesare, Bob and Rusty Cowboy at Poxx Bar, Paceville from 22:00. Entrance is at €5.

Club Sandwich Summer Session 1
The alternative music nights will continue at the open-air venue of Zmerc Regatta Club, Marsamxett, Valletta from 21:00. Featuring DJ sets from Bob, Vinc and a guest DJ. Entrance is free.

Ghanafest- Malta Mediterranean Folk Music Festival
Showcase of Mediterranean music heritage at Argotti Gardens, Floriana. Apart from Maltese ‘għana’, the festival will feature Gnawa music from Algeria, Sephardic melodies from Israel, and Gypsy rhythms from the south of France for a full Mediterranean folk experience. Starts at 19:00.

Sunday Song Recital
Sopranos Dorothy Baldacchino and Sandra Farrugia will deliver a concert at the Sagrestia Vault, Valletta Waterfront, from 17:00. They will be accompanied by Ramona Zammit Formosa on the piano. Entrance is by donation. Bookings: 79680952/bookings@baroccomalta.com.

X-Vandals CD launch
The band will be releasing Breach the Silence, their second CD, with a gig at Remedy Rock Club, Paceville. They will be supported by Thy Legion and Victims of Creation. Doors open at 21:30. Entrance at €7 includes a copy of the CD and a free shooter.

An exhibition by Martina Schmuecker held at the Malta Contemporary Art, 8, Off Racecourse Street, Marsa. It combines two important strands of Schmuecker’s recent work - one being a new series of drawings, the other a newly developed performance.
