Lawlessness, but not culture In his column (15 February) Michael Falzon condones the blocking of public pavements by some al fresco dining establishments claiming it is part of our ‘culture’, and one cannot change a people’s way of doing things. Does this mean Michael Falzon would also condone swearing, procrastination, loud behaviour and other less savoury traits that would appear to make up our ‘culture’? Where does Mr Falzon want to draw the line? Who does Michael Falzon want to protect with his article? Any comments? |
