Data protection inside the OPM

Edgar Galea Curmi said: “No breach of confidence or data protection would every find the backing of the Prime Minister.”
This is what MaltaToday reported in its issue of Sunday, 16 December 2008.
And the person called Galea Curmi is the same man who passed my confidential emails, which I had sent to the Prime Minister in December last year, without my knowledge let alone my consent, to Lou Bondì at Where’s Everybody (indeed, where is everyone? Is the population asleep?), for the latter to read out of context.
Galea Curmi said so during the proceedings of the Data Protection Commission hearing a few months ago.
But he did not let them know that Lawrence Gonzi had promised me that all our correspondence would remain confidential and that not even Galea Curmi would know about it. Can Lawrence and Edgar be trusted?
Edgar has forgotten the oath of secrecy he took at the commencement of his serving the people. So has Dr Gonzi.
And lest you forget, it was the same person who also lied about the MTA chairmanship. Not only is he a sworn civil servant who publishes secret information, he is also a civil servant who does anything to prop an ailing party of which he is a lackey.
