Valletta shops warned about illegal street furniture

Yesterday officials from the Government Property Divison handed out letters to the owners of establishments and restaurants in Valletta over street furniture that was pouring out onto the pavement.
The letters warned them that their street furniture were in breach of the law, and ordered them to sanction the situation with official permits, or else remove the furniture from the street.
Actions against street furniture have already taken place in Sliema and in Valletta by the GPD, accompanied by police officers.
