Absolutely late starting

Michael Bolton’s live concert, held on Saturday 4 October at the MFCC, was scheduled to start at 20.30 hours. Hundreds of attendees were already seated by that time, most arriving at the venue even an hour or so earlier. The organisers showed they meant business by printing ‘Absolutely No Late Seating’ on the tickets. Yet the show started at 10pm.
None of the NnG Promotions organisers had the decency to make an announcement to inform attendees about the delay. Moreover, once the show started we realised that from our seating (Silver area - tickets selling at €40) we could only see the backing vocalists, drummer and lights above the stage. The camera shots on the only big screen showed a blurred image of the artist and his band.
We expected the light show on stage to be much more impressive and artistic. So we left after an hour... we were not the only ones, as other readers and ushers can confirm.
If NnG promotions think that thousands of attendees can be treated in this way, I for one declare a boycott of their future productions. I would much prefer spending money to enjoy more professional shows when abroad.
