Cheap, disgusting entertainment

Monday evening, nothing to do, so after advice from a friend I searched a particular (local) user on YouTube for some fun.
To be honest, at first I saw some guys from my village I was a bit amused. But when I saw a disabled person being literally harassed and followed around with a camera, with the aim of provoking this person into either using vulgar language or resorting to violence, well, I had enough of it.
What surprised me most was that the person filming was getting a cheap thrill out of it.
That was not the only occasion or person. The thing is that these vultures only prey on people with either mental disabilities or physical disabilities. And even after a tourist, who could not stand by and do nothing about it (even saying to the self-proclaimed camera person, and I quote, “You should be ashamed of your country”), all they could do was laugh about it.
This is a serious matter, not just for the fact that this tourist was appalled att the whole thing, but also the fact that this is not just a local thing, it goes beyond that. This is transmitted around the whole world. Is this the image that we wish to project? Is this the nation that once was well known for its kindness?
Something has to be done about this cheap, disgusting, sick, so-called humour. It’s about time the law steps in and stops this type of twisted people once and for all. This is not a home video gone funny: this is literally disgusting and appalling.
With your permission, I would like to address the sick-minded people posting and producing these videos.
You should immediately seek professional help. You are not just a menace to society, but also to yourselves. Remember one thing only. If you really feel the urge to laugh at something, why not turn your camera on yourselves? I am sure that you will get all the entertainment you need.
