Stage adaptations of Maltese novels

I was very happy to read that there are people in the Maltese theatrical scene who have taken the initiative to dramatise a Maltese novel. I am also glad that that novel should have been Karl Schembri’s.
Please allow me publicly to congratulate Mr Schembri for this achievement, as well as to express the hope that this will be the first of a series of stage adaptations of Maltese novels.
Maltese culture needs people like Mr Schembri and the courageous team who took up this challenge. May the public reward them with its appreciation and support.
